Sticker Residue Evaluation Board

Certified analysis of adhesive failure. Every peel is official. Every peel ends the same way.

What We Do

The Bureau of Adhesive Archaeology exists to subject calibrated glossy boards to controlled peeling and certify whatever residue is left behind, using instruments only the Bureau can see.

Every peel generates its own specimen number, its own Tack Persistence, Fibre Distress, Peel Integrity, and Residue Classification reading, and its own permanent entry in the board's declining integrity history.

Methodology

Each test measures Tack Persistence, Fibre Distress, Peel Integrity, and Residue Classification, regardless of how gently the specimen was actually pulled, what it is actually made of, or whether sticker residue can be meaningfully classified at all.

All readings are generated within severities the Bureau considers scientifically unimpeachable. There is no residue scanner. There is no Bureau.

Board Adhesive Integrity

Every board begins at full integrity. Every peel lowers it. This is not measurement error. This is the entire measurement.

Integrity has never gone back up during a single recorded session, and the Bureau does not fund research into why.

Re-Peeling Policy

Specimens may be re-tested by peeling the next mounted sticker. The Bureau will apply exactly the same rigor to the re-test as to the original test, which is to say, none.

Legal

The Sticker Residue Evaluation Board is provided for entertainment purposes only. No stickers were harmed, saved, or meaningfully analyzed in the making of any certificate.
